Avenged Sevenfold - Discografia

O Avenged Sevenfold também conhecido como A7X é uma banda de Metalcore bastante popular dos E.U.A, mais precisamente da Califórnia. A banda foi formada em 1999 com M.Shadows nos vocais, Zacky Vengeance na guitarra, The Rev na bateria e Matt Wendt no contrabaixo. Os integrantes eram bem jovens quando gravaram seu primeiro álbum, Sounding The Seventh Trumpet, logo após a gravação o guitarrista Synister Gates entra na banda e Matt Wendt é substituído por Johnny Christ, com essa formação eles se fortalecem e gravam outro disco, Waking The Fallen é lançado em 2003, o sucesso foi tanto que saíram em varias turnês, gravaram videoclipes e assinaram um contrato com a Warner Bros. Records. No mesmo ano foi lançado o City Of Evil, uns dos discos de maior sucesso da banda. Depois Shadows afirmou que a banda queria fazer um álbum diferente dos anteriores algo que atrairia novos fãs e ao mesmo tempo deixasse os antigos felizes. E em 2007 lançaram o homônimo Avenged Sevenfold que fez fila nas lojas, depois disso eles ainda gravaram um disco ao vivo no ano seguinte. A banda fazia sucesso e tudo ia bem porém ocorre uma grande tragedia, o baterista The Rev é encontrado morto em sua casa no dia 28 de Dezembro de 2009 a policia foi notificada pelos bombeiros por cerca de 1h da tarde e a perícia constatou a causa da morte como inconclusiva, tanto a banda quanto fãs do mundo inteiro fizeram luto, a banda chegou a gravar uma musica dedicada a o Rev, a musica se chama So Far Away e está no Álbum Nightmare (quem gravou a bateria nesse álbum foi o baterista Mike Portnoy do Dream Theater), mas a banda tinha de continuar então o baterista Arin Llejay foi contratado mas saiu quatro meses depois e Brooks Wackerman grava o Hail To The King que tem seu lançamento em Agosto de 2013.  banda promete mais projetos vindo por aí, mas por enquanto só nos resta esperar.
